We're looking to add one more experienced 2nd shooter to our team for the 2018 season.

1) you have shot 25+ weddings as an assistant and/or 10+ weddings as lead
2) a full set of gear, including a full frame body. Canon highly preferred.
3) you are comfortable handling a scene on your own, esp the getting ready session and the portraits
4) willing to adjust your style to match ours
5) open to learning
6) your own transportation
7) pleasant personality

1) subject line: "application for assistant photographer position"
2) links to your pictures from 3+ complete weddings. Each gallery should have 250+ images. Unedited files preferred.
3) links to any other relevant sites, like your full wedding portfolio, social media accounts, etc
4) your gear list
5) what shooting mode you normally use
6) a brief description of your areas of strength and weakness as it relates to the position
7) a brief history of your photography experience, including how many weddings you have photographed
8) a few sentences about why you want this position
9) anything else that might be important

It's #historytime! For over a thousand years, the #goldfish has been used as a good luck symbol in many cultures. The ancient Greeks thought it improved relationships, the Egyptians apparently used to keep them in the house as a #lucky omen, and in 17th century western Europe, the goldfish became a popular 1st anniversary gift that men gave their wives. Then of course, in Chinese tradition, the goldfish symbolizes wealth, fertility, and luck.
And for us, since they were included as part of the #centerpieces, they symbolize an opportunity to shoot a cool #ringshot. 😉
Anybody else kept goldfish as pets when they were growing up?
