At Michelle and Jonathan’s wedding, every last detail celebrated their story as a couple. They married at the iconic Nestldown, exchanging vows in an intimate ceremony overlooking a crystal blue lake surrounded by majestic redwoods.
Michelle, a wedding planner, included many DIY projects into their wedding, from the boutonnieres to the escort cards. For their reception, they transformed Dynasty Seafood Restaurant into an elegant ballroom with romantic fabrics hanging from the ceiling and pink uplighting.
We loved their floral elements: a variety of pink and pastel flowers cascading from glass vases set on each table. Instead of traditional table numbers, Michelle and Jonathan used cursive die-cuts of the table number spelled out. Incorporating their love for music, they tied music into the names of their desserts, as well as performed a choreographed dance with their bridal party for their first dance. Michelle and Jonathan put a lot of thought and a lot of love in every last detail of their wedding, and we loved discovering all their personal touches throughout the wedding day.
