Introducing my friends Janny and Jennard!
I was one of the first people to find out about their engagement, but it was quite by accident. Last summer, I was walking down Embarcadero on the way to a Giants vs A’s game when I ran into Janny and Jennard. They apparently were on their way to dinner for one of those Dine About Town things.
After the game (the Giants won), my friends and I were walking back to my car when I ran into them again! What are the chances, eh? “How was dinner?”, I asked them. Well ….. then the truth comes out. Turns out that Jennard had actually proposed to her yesterday (or the day before? something like that), and they were going to celebrate their engagement. So if I had not seen them the second time that evening, I might not have found out until they started telling all their friends!
