San Francisco wedding photographer | Hotel Carlton | The Regency Center | Jessica and Alex

Talk about a kick-ass wedding! Jessica and Alex are both designers (I love working with artists), and with almost every part of their wedding a DIY project, they went all out with their Modern Glamour/Rock ‘n Roll theme. The details were everywhere–even down to custom ties for the catering staff!–and there was simply no end to the yummy eye-candy.

Makeup/hair: Maria Chang, Professional Makeup Artistry
Florist: Karen, Huckleberry Karen Designs
Cake: Krista Markell, Sugarcoat It Studio
Videography: Studio MSV
Hotel: Hotel Carlton
Venue: The Regency Center

San Francisco wedding photographerWhen they decided to have a non-traditional wedding, they went all the way. Here, Jessica is walking herself down the aisle to the song “Change” by the heavy metal/alt rock group Deftones. I was kneeling down on the floor at this time, and totally wasn’t expecting it. So when the music suddenly changed and Jessica started striding in with her gorgeous dress, I had goosebumps.

San Francisco wedding photographerIt was the end of a very long day, and they were both pretty tired, but they were game for a few more quick photos. I managed to squeeze in about a dozen different poses in several minutes. Bam bam bam! Alex noted that I was sweating by the end of it.
